Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 Net Monthly
About the Role
Our client, a leading distributor of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) across Nigeria, is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources & Administration. This role is ideal for a proactive and results-driven professional who can effectively manage people, policies, and processes while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management initiatives.
- Oversee performance management and employee appraisal processes.
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance workforce capability.
- Oversee payroll administration, leave management, and employee records.
- Drive employee engagement and retention strategies.
- Supervise administrative operations and ensure efficient office management.
- Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management presentations.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership and department heads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
