The Bank of Agriculture (BOA), in a strategic partnership with Heifer Nigeria, is proud to launch the National Agricultural Mechanisation Program. This vital initiative is designed to significantly boost Nigeria’s agricultural sector by increasing access to affordable mechanization services and improving the nation’s currently low tractor penetration rate.
Program Overview:
BOA and Heifer Nigeria have collaboratively developed a robust framework to sustainably finance and manage the 2,000 tractors procured by the Federal Government of Nigeria. This will be facilitated through an innovative Pay-As-You-Go model, making essential equipment more accessible to farmers and agricultural enterprises.

• Lease Terms: Flexible lease periods ranging from 3 to 5 years.
• Interest Rate: An affordable 15% interest rate.
• Down Payment: A manageable 25% down payment.
Special Terms/Conditions for Women & Youth:
