A dynamic opportunity awaits you as an Area Sales Manager – Hybrid in Kano! This role is crucial for driving sales growth and building strong partnerships within your assigned territory.

About the Role:

As the ASM Hybrid, you’ll spearhead wholesale and sub-dealer recruitment, expertly manage counter sales, and ensure flawless execution of sales strategies at both the distributor and field levels.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Channel Development: Lead the recruitment and effective management of wholesale and sub-dealer channels to expand market reach.

•  Strategic Execution: Implement Joint Business Plans (JBP) with distributors, utilizing the JBP review deck to ensure focused engagement and alignment.

•  Capability Building: Enhance distributor and salesforce capabilities through regular training, continuous support, and targeted coaching initiatives.

•  Distributor Engagement: Manage key distributor engagement programs, ensuring active participation and optimal performance.

•  Inventory Management: Oversee meticulous inventory and stock variance management, including efficient GRN processing and reconciliation.

•  Sales Performance: Drive exceptional primary and secondary sales performance to achieve and exceed set targets.

•  Compliance & Integrity: Ensure unwavering compliance with all LOLI and internal control standards, safeguarding company assets.

•  Target Delivery: Manage your area to deliver monthly NIV target set for your area.

•  Performance Growth: Ensure Area and distributors performance growth in NIV and Volume.

•  Range Selling: Ensure range selling to distributors/channel partners.

•  Customer Base: Establish, maintain and expand your customer base in the defined coverage territory/channel.

•  Account Management: Ensure proper management of distributors / channel partner accounts.

•  Zero Debt Ratio: Ensure zero debt ratios in all dealings.

•  Communication: Communicate monthly target / objective to distributors/channel partners in coverage area.

•  Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance of your distributors/channel partners and prepare weekly performance report.

•  Service Delivery: Improve service delivery, manage relationship and open vibrant communication channels with TGI partners.

Eligibility Criteria:

•  A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in a related field.

•  A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Hybrid ASM, demonstrating a track record of success.

•  Excellent communication skills (including written, oral, and presentation skills).

•  Strong problem solving & analytical skills

•  Excellent interpersonal skills

•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

•  Attention to detail
