Save the Children: Field Enumerators Needed in Zaria, Kaduna north and Kaduna south
Save the Children is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Field Enumerators to support our data collection efforts in Kaduna (Zaria). This is an opportunity to contribute to our mission of improving the lives of children around the world.
Key Areas of Accountability:
As a Field Enumerator, you will be responsible for:
• Supporting data collection based on program requirements and as directed by your supervisor.
• Identifying respondents based on the field survey target population.
• Accurately collecting and entering responses into the data collection tool.
• Complying with data collection and management ethics by ensuring the confidentiality of respondent information.
• Documenting challenges encountered during data collection and providing feedback to your supervisor.
• Ensuring the proper use of data collection tools and other equipment used for assigned activities.
• Checking collected data for accuracy and reliability before submission.
• Utilizing Information Communication Technology for Development (ICT4D) applications for data management as recommended by your supervisor.
• Participating in field briefings before and after activities in the field.
• Submitting all materials obtained during field activities or while collecting data to your supervisor.
• Leading focus group discussion sessions in the field when necessary.
• Ensuring accountability and transparency while carrying out duties.
Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes:
• Essential:
• National Diploma / NCE or Degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least one year of experience in data collection or field survey-related activities.
• Valid identification card or form of identification.
• Must be residing within the state they are applying for, Kaduna (Zaria).
• Ability to speak the local language.
