VACANCY: Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc is Hiring an Assistant Accountant
Location: Bauchi
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
– B.Sc or HND in Accounting or related discipline
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong analytical and numerical skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365)
– Proactive and goal-oriented with a drive for continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
– Perform weekly reconciliation of site cash and inventory ledger
– Prepare daily site operations reports with financial and operational data
– Reconcile physical inventory against system balances and report discrepancies
– Track and report operational or financial leakages
– Drive cost savings initiatives (minimum 5% reduction in costs year-on-year)
– Prepare and submit site income statement
– Provide financial support to site operations and monitor raw material discharge processes
