Career Opportunity: Hausa Newscaster/Translator in Kano
We are seeking a skilled and fluent Hausa Newscaster/Translator to join our dynamic team in Kano. If you have a passion for news, excellent communication skills in both English and Hausa, and a strong understanding of current affairs, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Translate English news scripts accurately and effectively into Hausa.
• Present news in a clear, engaging, and informative manner on radio.
• Conduct research and reporting on local and national events.
• Maintain a high standard of journalistic integrity.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mass Communications or a related field.
• Excellent research and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately translate English scripts into Hausa.
• Good command and fluent delivery in newscasting.
• Prior experience in radio news reporting is a plus.
• Must reside in Kano.
