Malaria Consortium, through funding from Philanthropic Fund, GF and KOICA supported NMEP and SMEP in Bauchi, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kano, Kogi, Plateau, Nasarawa, Oyo, Niger, Kaduna, Kano, FCT, and Kebbi States to implement Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC). SMC involves the administration of monthly treatment courses of a combination of antimalarial drugs with the objective of maintaining therapeutic antimalarial drug concentrations in the blood throughout the period of transmission (rainy season) to prevent malaria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Workshop Assistant
Location: Sokoto
Job Purpose
To provide Workshop support to the Malaria Consortium Sokoto State Field office during 2025 State Training of Trainers (SToT).
Scope of Assignment
Specific activities of workshop assistant (IT & Administration):
To liaise with hotel management to make sure the training venue is always clean, tidy and hygienic throughout the training period.
Support the training logistics
Distribute training materials to the participants
Compile participant’s attendance
Compile bank details of the training participants
Required outputs/Deliverables:
Efficient training support
Reporting:
The Support staff shall directly report to the Admin Officer.
Requirements
Minimum SSCE qualification.
At least one-year experience in similar positions/assignment.
Good numeracy, written and verbal communication skills.
Good attention to details and accuracy.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical skills.
Strong command of Microsoft office suites (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Project
packages).
Excellent organizational and time management skills are required.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team and to handle multiple priorities is required.
