Moniepoint: Field Credit Officer – Nationwide (Contract)
Moniepoint is seeking motivated Field Credit Officers to join our team and play a critical role in expanding access to credit for businesses across Nigeria.
About the Role:
As a Field Credit Officer, you will be responsible for onboarding and managing businesses seeking access to Moniepoint’s credit products. Your primary focus will be on growing your loan portfolio while maintaining profitability by ensuring timely loan repayments. You will leverage innovative tools to assess credit applications, monitor business performance, and make informed recommendations to management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and onboard viable businesses within your assigned geographical area to open business accounts with Moniepoint.
• Engage customers to ensure optimal usage of accounts and qualify them for access to credit.
• Thoroughly review and analyze loan requests, utilizing data to make informed credit decisions.
• Conduct physical visits to potential borrowers’ business locations to evaluate financial records, inventory, and turnover.
• Meet gross loan portfolio and profit targets by maintaining a healthy number of performing loan customers.
• Monitor active loan portfolios to ensure continued business account usage and loan repayment adherence.
• Perform all other credit-related functions as assigned by a supervisor.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of an OND in any business-related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role for credit products within a financial institution.
• Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
• A good knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage.
• Must be Resident in Adamawa .
• Must be resident in the specified location.

• Agility and perseverance.
Location: Nationwide (All 36 States of the federation – Contract)
