GOALPrime Organization Nigeria (GPON) is seeking a skilled Technology Specialist to design, develop, and manage “Edutrack,” a web and mobile application for tracking humanitarian education activities in emergencies.

Job Overview/Summary:
The Technology Specialist will lead the development, data integration, user experience design, maintenance, and security of the Edutrack app. They will also manage and maintain the organization’s website.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of Edutrack (design, coding, testing, deployment).
• Ensure robust data storage and management system.
• Design user-friendly interfaces.
• Maintain and update the app.
• Establish strong data security protocols.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Manage and maintain the organization’s website.
Experience and Technical Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in web and mobile app development (non-profit/humanitarian preferred).
• Strong skills in programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Swift, Java) and development frameworks (e.g., React, Flutter).
• Experience with database management and data security.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and cloud hosting/server management (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable.
