Introduction
Save the Children International (SCI) is a leading international organization working in over 120 Countries. Save the Children has had a continuous presence in Nigeria since 2001. The early focus was on getting children actively involved in shaping the decisions that affect their lives. Today, SCI is working in 20 states in Nigeria concentrating on saving children’s lives; fighting for their rights and helping them fulfil their potential. SCI is doing this through investing in health and nutrition, education, hunger and livelihoods, child rights governance and child protection. We work closely with partners to develop sustainable, replicable solutions to ensure that children receive decent necessities of life.
We do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – to transform their lives and the future we share.
We are committed to ensuring our resources are used as efficiently as possible, to focus them on achieving maximum impact for children.
