Are you a female African data scientist or storyteller passionate about digital rights and civic tech?
Code For Africa (CfA) is offering 14 stipend-based fellowships for African female data scientists and storytellers to empower youth voices and promote a safer digital space through gender-focused projects.
The six-month fellowship aims to address content gaps on gender-related projects, including cybersecurity, data protection, e-democracy, civic tech, and human rights with a focus on the Sahel, West Africa, and the Horn of Africa.
Fellows receive:
• $250 stipend/month
• Hands-on fact-checking and technical training
• One-on-one mentorship,and support from CfA’s Communities and Academy teams
