Engagement of State Technical Assistance to Support Measles-Rubella in Nigeria
The upcoming Measles-Rubella (MR) campaign is a critical public health initiative aimed at increasing immunization coverage, particularly in zero-dose and under-immunized communities. To ensure effective implementation at the state level, Direct Consulting (DCL) and Africa Saving Lives Konsult (ASLK) are seeking qualified and experienced individuals to serve as State Technical Assistants (State TAs) across the 36 states plus FCT.
The state TAs will provide technical support across multiple domains to ensure a successful MR campaign, including but not limited to planning and coordination, training, vaccine & logistics, funding, microplanning, supportive supervision, and monitoring among others. The duration of the TA support will cover a period of 6 months that can fall between May 2025 to April 2026 depending on when the Measles-Rubella campaign will be launched in your state.
Applicants must be residents of the state they are applying for and fluent in the local language. They must have relevant public health experience, particularly in immunization, and demonstrate competence in state technical assistance for immunization,
