Africa Health Business (AHB) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Associate to join the Coalition of Blood for Africa (CoBA) secretariat. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of CoBA, a coalition dedicated to improving access to safe and adequate blood supplies in Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
– Member Recruitment and Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to recruit and engage new members, ensuring a diverse and active membership base.
– Governance and Board Management: Provide administrative support to the CoBA Board, ensuring effective governance and decision-making processes.
– Online Visibility and Advocacy: Develop and implement online communication strategies to raise awareness about CoBA’s mission and activities, and advocate for improved blood access in Africa.
– Event Management and Partnership Building: Organize and coordinate events, conferences, and meetings to promote CoBA’s objectives, and build partnerships with key stakeholders.
– Strategic Communications and Content Creation: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy, creating engaging content to promote CoBA’s mission and activities.
Requirements:
– Passion for blood, health advocacy, and project management, with a commitment to improving access to safe and adequate blood supplies in Africa.
– Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
– Background in communications, journalism, social studies, or public health, with a strong understanding of health advocacy and project management principles.
– Experience in project management and content creation, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
