With up to 32,000 deaths annually, snakebite envenoming is a critical health issue in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The African Research Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ARNTD) in collaboration with the African Snakebite Alliance (ASA), funded by Wellcome Trust, is stepping up to improve health outcomes for those affected by snakebite envenoming.
The Alliance aims to address critical evidence gaps in policy and practice across the continent.
