IFC GEID project in Nigeria

IFC’s Gender and Economic Inclusion Department (GEID) is seeking an enthusiastic and highly driven candidate to support as the Program Coordinator for the implementation of IFC’s Care2Equal Nigeria (C2E NG) program and deliver on its mandate.

C2E NG is IFC’s first GEID-led program in sub-Saharan Africa that is designed as a holistic approach to improve female labour force participation through increased availability and adoption of family friendly workplace policies and practices, including employer-supported childcare, increased availability of quality childcare services and enablers, improved gender inclusion in how Financial Institutions (FIs) and investors allocate capital to women-led care enterprises, and strengthened legal and regulatory frameworks around family friendly workplaces and childcare in Nigeria.

The three-year program builds on IFC’s extensive study of Nigeria’s childcare ecosystem. C2E NG is guided by the principle that progress on access to enabling services, like quality childcare, and gender equality are closely intertwined, and that women-led care enterprises and startups, if enabled and financed, can drive innovative solutions to meet the growing demand for quality childcare.

In case you know of any suitable candidate, ideally based in Nigeria, kindly share. We also welcome applications from outside Nigeria and would be grateful for any referrals you can provide.

IFC invites eligible candidates to submit their CVs (maximum 2 pages) and Cover Letter (maximum 1 page) with
the subject line ‘C2E NG Application_[LAST NAME]’ to care2equalnigeria@ifc.org by midnight (WAT) January 31, 2025
