Applications are now open for fully funded Master’s and PhD positions in Agricultural Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in Precision Agriculture at Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, USA.
The opportunity is open to candidates with backgrounds in Agricultural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geography, Crop Science, or related fields, especially those interested in robotics, AI, automation, or precision agriculture.
Key Details
Selected students will work on research involving autonomous agricultural systems, machine learning and deep learning models for crop monitoring, remote sensing, sensor fusion, and computer vision. The positions begin in Summer/Fall 2026.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have experience in robotics or automation, programming (Python, C++, ROS), and familiarity with machine learning frameworks. Strong communication and teamwork skills are also required.
