Call for applications for unesco MILID Programme
The Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue Foundation (MILID Foundation) in collaboration with the Nigerian Office of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) is calling for applications for a workshop on media and information literacy (MIL) in youth and youth-led organisations in North West Nigeria.
The workshop aims to build skills required to address the challenges of the 21st century in Nigeria including the proliferation of mis/disinformation, the decline of trust in media, digital innovations such as Artificial Intelligence, and gender-based violence among others
Selection Criteria
- Participating organisations must be based in
Northwest Nigeria - Organisations must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission
- Participants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of this application
- Selected Organisations must be willing and ready to nominate two delegates (male and female) to participate in a 3-day workshop in Kano
