We are happy to announce that our call for applications for the new mandate is now open.
We are looking for new young leaders to join the coordination team for the 2024-25 period, with the aim of influencing international migration policy at the highest levels. Our vision is to create a future that includes all youth migrants and fully realizes their potential.
The application deadline is June 28, 2024.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE PART OF THE COORDINATION TEAM?

YOUR OPPORTUNITIES

  • Join a global team of young leaders from all ages, regions, and backgrounds
  • Hands-on project, programme, events, and/or communications management experience for a well-known organisation in the migration field
  • Practice and apply your knowledge, creativity and leadership skills
  • Develop your career and build your profile through policy, publications, and speaking opportunities
  • Influence national, regional, and global advocacy agendas that is heard by the United Nations, States, and prominent Civil Society, Local Government and Private Sector stakeholders
  • Work with MYCP partners such as UNICEF, IOM, UNESCO, the UN Network on Migration, United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), and the International Catholic Migration Commission

OUR EXPECTATIONS

We are a volunteer-led organisation that relies on the passion, ownership and commitment of our team members to both the cause of advancing young migrant rights and youth representation, as well as to each other. We are flexible with the time we will ask of you, but we expect all our team members to Commit, Communicate, and Care.

Our mandated year for 2024-25 is from September 2024 – July 2025. All team members must commit to being consistently engaged throughout this period (with allowances for extenuating circumstances). 

Successful completion of your mandate will give you an official Certificate of Completion, access to the Alumni Network, and access to a contact point for future professional recommendations.
