Contract length: 6 months, with the possibility of extension
Hours: full-time
Location: Home based in Nigeria, preferably Maiduguri or Abuja
Travel: regular field trips to research locations in northeast Nigeria; if extended, potentially also to other parts of the country, including northwest Nigeria
Reporting to: Research Coordinator
Remuneration: 790,000-840,000 Naira/month

The Role
The Research Specialist responsible for leading on the AAP assessments, as well as coordinating the implementation of deep dives and qualitative surveys for the Third Party Monitoring (TPM) project in Nigeria, funded by FCDO. They are also responsible for the full research cycle of the assessments. They will be asked to prepare the first assessment in collaboration with the Research Managerand then lead on subsequent assessments. The Specialist will serve as team lead, and monitor work done by research assistants and FACT Foundation (team leader, data officer, operation manager).
