Women-Led Healthcare Innovations in Africa: Apply Now for the 2025 WiNFUND grants!
WiNFUND is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest cycle, inviting innovative female health entrepreneurs across Africa to apply. This initiative is dedicated to identifying and supporting organizations that are revolutionizing healthcare access on the continent. By empowering women-led ventures with groundbreaking solutions, WiNFUND aims to drive impactful and sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery for underserved communities.
This new cohort focuses on supporting ventures that are not only led by women but also create meaningful healthcare innovations for women. Selected organizations will benefit from funding, mentorship, and access to a global network of investors, industry experts, and procurement systems. The program is designed to accelerate growth, enhance visibility, and facilitate connections with partners who can support their journey toward rapid scalability.
WiNFUND recognizes that half the world’s population lacks access to essential healthcare, and this program seeks to address that gap. If you are an entrepreneur with a healthcare solution that is ready to scale, this is your chance to make a difference.
Successful applicants will receive tailored growth support, including funding, training, and mentorship from experts in academia, global health, and the healthcare industry. Additionally, participants will gain access to a worldwide network of investors and public and private procurement systems, opening new opportunities for market expansion.
To be eligible, organizations must focus on improving healthcare access, tackling challenges such as affordability, availability, and supply chain gaps. Solutions may range from medical technology and telehealth services to innovative healthcare delivery systems. Applicants must also be led or co-led by a woman and be at the revenue stage, showcasing a viable business model with a commitment to sustainable impact. Furthermore, the organization must be based in Africa, with priority given to ventures operating in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Applications close on December 13th at 15:00. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of a movement that is reshaping healthcare access across Africa!
