Job Description
Presentation:

The Information Management and Partnership Officer will enhance the accuracy of iMMAP Inc.’s data and improve the effectiveness of material distribution.
This role supports the organization’s goals by working with national and international partners, donor agencies, and stakeholders.
The officer will maintain strong relationships with humanitarian partners and build productive collaborations to advance iMMAP Inc.’s objectives.
Partnership:

Conduct a needs assessment to identify potential partners for collaboration.
Identify organizations or institutions with complementary goals and resources.
Maintain strong relationships with organizations, institutions, and stakeholders. Facilitate regular interactions to ensure alignment of goals and expectations.
Negotiate the terms, roles, and responsibilities of each partner in the collaboration.
Draft and sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or a formal partnership agreement outlining the terms and conditions.
Establish clear communication channels and protocols to maintain collaboration.
Coordinate activities and initiatives to achieve common goals efficiently.
Regularly assess and evaluate the partnership’s progress and impact.
Manage a detailed schedule of training sessions, including dates, times, and topics to be covered during each training session.
Manage the location of the training, venue, equipment, and any special arrangements or facilities required.

Information Management Support:

Create and/or adapt appropriate IM tools.
Design data collection tools, ensuring clarity and ease of data collection.
Facilitate mobile data collection, form development, and data management.
Support the implementation of remote data collection exercises for the humanitarian community.
Maintain databases and provide data entry if required.
Support new and ongoing needs assessments.
Map assistance coverage in specified areas, analyze and report the potential gaps.
Ensure timely preparation and generation of information products, and support information sharing and dissemination.
Organize and manage data input, initial analysis, and presentation of data for the sector.
Develop standard formats for and regular output of publication materials and statistics.
Generate statistical reports, graphs, and maps.
Manage, analyze, and document data and information from other partners.
Produce and share maps illustrating the scale/coverage of assistance.
Prepare relevant data analysis.
Design and implement analysis methodology.
Proactively analyze information from sector partners, government authorities, academia, and other actors.
Provide high-quality research and analysis following an evidence-based approach, ensuring thorough documentation of the methodology.
Contribute to the production of regular written reports and dashboards.
Provide information management and thematic training to partner organizations
Conduct pre- and post-assessment to evaluate participants’ performance and the effectiveness of the training.
Training field staff or partners on the use of mobile data collection tools.
Follow iMMAP Inc.’s branding regulations required for marketing or branding of all iMMAP Inc. products and correspondence.
Conduct any other tasks related to information management that may be requested.
Ensure close collaboration with the OCHA team and other intersectoral partners, working groups, and sectors’ teams.
Conduct any other activities as requested by the Senior IM Technical Advisor and the Country Representative.
Requirements
Education:

University Degree (bachelor’s degree or higher) in Information Science, Geographical Information Systems, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
Experience:

Minimum two years of work experience in the field of Information Management is essential.
Experience in building partnerships with humanitarian, development, and government stakeholders.
Experience in engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including local communities, donors, and international agencies.
Experience in data processing and analysis, and creation of reports.
Experience in the use of software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Adobe Suites, Power BI, and Tableau.
Experience in data collection process using XLSForm, Kobo collect, ODK, or any other similar platform.
Excellent command of Office suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Very good experience and skills in mapping.
Solid demonstrated experience in database management development and administration.
Experience in delivering training.
Fluency in English is required.

Relevant experience in working with a UN agency or another humanitarian agency is desirable.
Ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances and priorities in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Capability to negotiate terms and resolve conflicts effectively with various stakeholders.
A strong client service orientation.
Experience in the area of emergency preparedness, crisis/emergency relief management, humanitarian/development environment, and field coordination is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal and general communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with local administrators, government, and NGOs working with community projects and agencies involved in humanitarian or development activities.
Ability to work with minimum supervision in a multi-cultural environment.
