Are you a young women-led organization committed to humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding initiatives in Nigeria? ActionAid Nigeria invites you to apply for the FLOURISH Mentorship Program, designed to empower and equip emerging women leaders with the skills, knowledge, and resources to drive impactful change.
About FLOURISH:
The “Fostering Leadership and Opportunities for Underrepresented Women in Humanitarian” (FLOURISH) is a Mentorship and capacity building Program that seeks to offer comprehensive support and training for young women-led organizations. Participants will engage in hands-on learning to strengthen organizational capacity in critical areas such as structural and operational support, Capacity building on Humanitarian response programs, policy influencing, advocacy, climate justice, social movement building, among others.
Eligibility Criteria:
The FLOURISH Mentorship Program is open to young women-led organizations that meet the following criteria:
Women-Led: Organization must be led by young women under the age of 35.
Humanitarian and Development Focus: Active engagement in humanitarian, development, or peacebuilding efforts.
Emerging Organizations: Preference for newly established organizations or those in need of structural and operational capacity support.
Commitment to Learning: Willingness to fully participate in all mentorship and training activities throughout the program.
Mentorship benefits:
Participants in the FLOURISH Mentorship Program will receive training and support in
Organizational Structuring and Governance

Humanitarian Development and Peace (HDP) Nexus
Advocacy, campaign and Policy Influencing.
Climate Justice and Sustainable Solutions
Research, Advocacy, and campaign
Social Movement Courses for youth Led organizations.

Application Requirement:
A brief expression of interest statement (not more than 1 page) explaining why your organization is interested in this mentorship program and how it aligns with your mission and goals.
- Submit the profile of YOUR organization showing the work you are doing, and proof of registration with CAC or state government.
