Fully Funded Rest and Resilience Fellowship 2025 in Germany
The Rest and Resilience Fellowship in Germany is a Fully Funded Fellowship for six months. Participants will spend six months in Berlin. The Fellowship will run from May 2025 to October 2025.
During the fellowship, all the expenses are covered. The Rest and Resilience Fellowship is a joint program by Reporters Without Borders Germany (RSF) and the Taz Panter Foundation.
There is no application fee to participate in the fellowship and the Program covers the Participant’s Airfare Tickets, Visa Costs, Housing, Insurance, and Monthly Stipend.
The Rest and Resilience Fellowship aims to support journalists from countries with restricted press freedom who have faced personal threats or challenging working conditions due to their journalistic work.
Attending this fellowship will help them to recover from the difficult working conditions and improve their personal and professional horizons.
Fully Funded Rest and Resilience Fellowship 2025 Eligibility Criterias
To be eligible for the Rest & Resilience Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Several years of relevant work experience as a professional journalist.
A clear understanding of how the fellowship can positively impact their current work.
A personal threat profile due to journalistic work or difficult working conditions.
Proven knowledge of the English language, enabling effective professional communication.
A passport is valid for at least twelve months at the time of application.
A commitment to return to their home country after the fellowship period.
