Call for Applications: Social Media for Accountability (SM4A) Training
The Centre for Information Technology and Development (CITAD) invites youth and students to apply for the latest Social Media for Accountability (SM4A) Training. This program aims to equip young people with the skills to promote accountability through effective social media campaigns.
Training Objectives
The SM4A Training will enable participants to:
- Utilize social media for impactful campaign strategies.
- Develop and execute an accountability-focused campaign.
- Emphasize ethical practices in advocacy and communication.
- Monitor, measure, and evaluate the success of their campaigns.
- Safeguard their social media accounts against cyber threats.
Training Details
Format: Online and in-person sessions available
Duration: Two contact days, five hours each
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Age: 18–30 years
Education: Minimum of secondary school education with strong digital literacy skills
Affiliation: Connected to a youth group or advocacy organization
Social Media: Actively using social media platforms
Neutrality: Not affiliated with any political party
