Position: Creative & Communications Associate
Abuja | Hybrid | 3 Days onsite & 2 Days Remote Weekly
Job Summary
The Creative and Communications Associate (CCAS) will assist in developing and executing project communication strategies to enhance our organisation’s brand visibility, and reputation, and creatively tell our impact story. Responsibilities include the design and production of digital content such as videos, podcasts, graphics, design reports, infographics and data visualisation and contribute to managing the organisation’s digital communication assets. The role involves supporting internal and external communications frameworks and overseeing all communications channels.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience with a Bachelor’s degree or HND in communications, journalism, public relations, digital communications and marketing, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing communication strategies communications in the non-profit, development or civil society sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and communication channels.
Experience and network in media relations, including pitching stories, developing and circulating press releases, and managing media inquiries.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, content management systems, and analytics tools.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Ability to use Adobe Photoshop, MS & Google Suite, Adobe Illustration, Adobe Premiere, Canva and other graphic design, audio and video editing tools that may be required.
Digitally savvy with active social media profiles, a good following and a passion for storytelling and engagement.
